About Me - photosby-MPhotography

My name is Mindy. I'm a  Portrait Photographer specializing in High School Senior Portraits.  I am located in Bellefonte, PA. and service the Central Pennsylvania Region.   My passion is capturing moments that will be treasured forever.  I am also a wife, mother of three, and the daughter of someone that died at a young age.  I know just how quickly life goes by and how important each precious moment is.

As a child, the very first family portrait we ever had was taken by my uncle.  It was just a few years later that my dad died from leukemia.  We had no idea that this would be the only family portrait we would ever have of all four of us.  I was only 6 years old.  As I grew, the pictures we had in our albums became my memories.

I was about 8 years old when I got my first (hand-me-down) camera.  An old Kodak with flash cubes!  :D  My wonderful mother must have spent a fortune developing all my crazy pictures!  I say crazy because what child sets up her Barbies for a wedding just so she can take pictures, or poses all of her Cabbage Patch Dolls for a family portrait.  Well, that child was me.  Little did I know that this would become my passion.

When I first decided to dive into this profession I already had three little ones running around.  My husband, and biggest fan, supported me all the way (and still does).  I have spent the past 9 years now doing what I love to do!

Over the years I've come to find that some of my favorite times as a photographer have been getting to know my clients.  I love hearing about their hobbies and favorite sports, what their plans and dreams are for the future, and sharing in that special moment when they get their college acceptance letter!  It makes each moment we spend together even more special.  Each Senior I am blessed to work with holds special spot in my heart and I rejoice in their accomplishments along with their parents.  I am proud to call them all "MY Seniors" and look forward to seeing what their futures hold for them.

I feel extremely blessed to be able to do what I love doing, and I hope that you will find as much joy in viewing your photos as I do in taking them!
